So, the only think i still have to buy, is the Paint.
I will use plastic parts i have, so i will not buy any of the (in Hellas) expensive Styrene.
The Lawgiver it will based on Ian Gibson's TEK schematic.
Is not going to be an exact creation, but it will be build, according to me personal view of the Lawgiver.
So the Barrel is going to be more "fat" and some parts will have plus or minus some millimeters.
The Lawgiver's size is based on the tor left corner of the Schematic, Dredd. I take him as a 1.80 , highly trained and forking out person. plus the glove size. So i believe that the length of 35cm's is the best. Yes, 35 cm's. You read right. It is a BIG gun!
I take as reference, artwork from many artist, and the most of them drawn the Lawgiver big. The Lower part of the Grip, is not covered by Dredd's hand on many artworks.
Also, magazines on this dimensions, are holding the exact number of bullets in 7-7.5 caliber.
Yesterday i cut the main parts from wood. Today i will give the the desired shape. The wood used on the magazines are soft, but the wood used for the other parts are a hard "Swedish" wood. I have experience with both types of wood.
Anyone interested on making his own Lawgiver, or want to give advise, tell his option or just say something, please leave a reply here.
For tutorials, Templates, etc, you must tell me first, and when i have time i will post them.
P.S.
I will sure post the Blueprint i make and used.
